What to Bring


FOR YOUR OWN TAX RETURN

  • All valid forms of identification for taxpayer, spouse and dependents
  • All social security cards for taxpayer, spouse and dependents
  • All birth certificates for taxpayer, spouse and dependents
  • All applicable W2 forms
  • All applicable Social Security statements
  • All applicable 1099 forms
  • All applicable documents for Earned Income Tax Credit purposes such as utility bills, lease agreements, etc.
  • All applicable bank tax documents. Including the bank routing number to use for tax refunds
  • All applicable mortgage interest statements
  • All applicable property tax information for houses and other property owned
  • All daycare information including name of provider, address, tax identification number or social security number if its an individual
  • Stock sale documents
  • Profit and Loss Statement (if you are a business owner)
  • For all new clients, please bring a copy of last year’s tax return

FOR SOMEONE ELSE’S TAX RETURN or “DROP OFFS”

  • All valid forms of identification for taxpayer, spouse and dependents if applicable
  • All social security cards for taxpayer, spouse and dependents if applicable
  • All tax documents listed above
  • Phone availability: The person whose tax we will be working on needs to be reachable by phone during the appointment
  • Fax availability: The person whose tax we will be working on needs to have access to a fax machine so that they can sign paperwork and fax it back to our office
  • For all new clients, please bring a copy of last year’s tax return

FOR A CORPORATE TAX RETURN

  • Bank statements
  • Profit and Loss Statement
  • Balance Sheet statement
  • EIN Number
  • Indication of corporation type: S Corp, Regular Corp, LLC, etc.
  • For all new corporations, we will need a copy of last year’s corporate tax return
